  • To prevent routing attacks, a routing protocol must encrypt and authenticate every message and Id at the end-to-end.

  • To achieve secure communication in MANET by using the secure keys should be available before a routing protocol starts working.

  • To provide a routing mechanism that offers protection against malicious nodes.

The key management uses the public key cryptography and digital signature to authenticate the participating nodes in the communication network.
