  • The proposed work aims at conducting a comprehensive study to investigate the performance and behavior of TCP in a high speed environment. The performance is analyzed in terms of RTT, packet loss rate, and throughput. Moreover, the challenges posed on the main TCP operations such as establishment, transmission, congestion control, flow control, and termination are analyzed by varying the node mobility. Moreover, this work illustrates that the RTT and packet loss rate increase significantly and throughput drops considerably in high speed situations.
