  • The proposed work aims to offload the unevenly distributed load from the overloaded macro-cell to the uncongested femto-cell in multi-tier Heterogeneous Networks. The proposed work transforms the macro user equipment (MUE) with poor link quality to uncongested femto-cells using D2D relaying. The two-stage relay selection and resource allocation scheme are used to meet the transmission requirement of different users.
