  • The expected transmission cost of multi-hop path (ETCoP) is proposed to achieve the minimal transmission cost and maximum forwarding reliability in intra-streets based on a novel concept of link correlation. A street-centric opportunistic routing protocol is also proposed based on ETCoP for VANETs, in which packets can be dynamically forwarded at the intersections based on the information of adjacent streets.
