  • In this project, propose a new type of protocol that proactively selects a group of forwarding nodes that work cooperatively in forwarding the packet towards the destination. Multiple nodes are selected so as to coordinate their transmission to achieve transmission side diversity. In this network nodes are equipped with Omni-directional antenna to achieve transmission side diversity. It have also proposed a new technique to find the optimum route between the source and destination that incurs the minimum cost in terms of energy, number of hops, available bandwidth and link quality.

  • Existing On-Demand Ad-Hoc Routing Algorithms initiate route discovery only after a path breaks, but in the proposed scheme, the link breakage is predicted at every time. when a path is likely to be broken, a warning is sent to the source indicating the likelihood of a disconnection.
