  • This paper proposes, technique to select the most suitable POIs according to the user’s specifics and preferences. But some of the existing system could not provide the accurate similar user identification due to lack of sufficient information. This problem called as“sparsity problem”. To address this problem, this work propose an author topic model-based collaborative filtering (ATCF) method is proposed to facilitate comprehensive points of interest (POIs) recommendations for social users.
