  • This work proposes a novel multiple access protocol for collision free Wi-Fi networks. The access point allocates a unique backoff state to the station using ACK frame. Instead of taking the data frame, the proposed work takes into account the control frame and improves the performance. The centralized random backoff is compared with the deterministic backoff mechanism.
