  • The sensors must continuously look for new Neighbors (hidden nodes) in many situations such as termination of connectivity from the existing neighbor. In such cases Continuous Neighbor Discovery Process is done which is the process of finding more neighbor nodes and checking the presence of existing neighbor.

  • Along with the Continuous Neighbor Discovery Algorithm, Transmission Range Adjustment Protocol is also executed so that to conserve energy. The sensor node must readjust the Transmission Range when remaining energy reaches below a threshold. Thus proposed protocol prolongs the lifetime of node.
