  • EDAC, an Energy and Density Aware Clustering protocol is proposed to improve the connectivity and network lifetime of multi level heterogeneous WSN. The proposed centralized protocol enables the base station to select the cluster head and relay node on the basis ofresidual energy, distance from base station, node density, overlapping ratio of nodes, etc.
