  • An energy efficient localization algorithm with high accuracy for cognitive radio networks is proposed. An energy efficient localization algorithm is proposed for joint estimation of primary user (PUs) and secondary user (SUs) in cognitive radio network. The optimum placement of SUs with known location in order to optimize the proposed algorithm by achieving higher localization accuracy while maximizing the energy efficiency of the CRN.
