  • Clustering is most energy efficient technique in energy constraint wireless sensor network. The routing protocols should consume minimum energy to improve the network lifetime. This work provides two extensions on LEACH protocol named as TB-LEACH andCTPEDCA protocol. The proposed hybrid protocol selects highly energetic Cluster Heads for data aggregation and routing using tree and cluster based techniques that improves the network lifetime.
