  • The main goal of the project is to support twig pattern queries of XML streaming data through lineage encoding. Furthermore, the project minimizes the client downloading data content and provides selective access which in turn minimizes the latency. The mobile client skipping irrelevant data reduces overhead.

  • Distributed Cache Invalidation Mechanism (DCIM) is contributed to access frequent items and reduces the repetition of processing Xml streaming data. Instead of caching all data items, DCIM used to cache frequently accessed data items in the client node. To avoid the maintenance of stale data items in the client cache, only unexpired data items are maintained.
