Main Reference PaperLoad Balancing Early Handoff Scheme for Multimedia Data Transmission in Wireless Networks, I.J.Computer Network and Information Security,2015 [NS2]
  • A load balancing early handoff scheme is proposed and is able to integrate with various call admission control schemes. This study developed a load balancing early handoff scheme that enables transfer part of heavy load in a base station to the others using the overlap between base stations in wireless cellular networks. The proposed scheme reduces the new call blocking probability (CBP) and handoff call connection dropping probability (CDP) as well as to increase the resource utilization of wireless networks.

  • To provide an un-interruptible communication service, the handoff process should be performed smoothly.

  • To balance the resource utilization of wireless networks.

  • To decrease the packet loss based on predication based handoff mechanism

+ Aim & Objectives
  • To provide an un-interruptible communication service, the handoff process should be performed smoothly.

  • To balance the resource utilization of wireless networks.

  • To decrease the packet loss based on predication based handoff mechanism

  • When the base station (BSA) has increased load, the early handoff procedure is triggered. Early handoff works only when the load gets increased. The technique is contributed that predicts the disconnection of the user based on the consecutive distance values. it has an important impact on the reduction of packet losses during handover.
