  • This project extends Paris traceroute and proposes an extensive characterization of multipath routing in the Internet. “The Multipath Detection Algorithm (MDA)” is proposed which finds with a low failure probability bound, all paths from a source to a destination under per-flow and per-packet load balancing. Performance of the extended MDA algorithm is compared with the classic trace route algorithm by performing simulation using NS2.

  • TeXCP, an online distributed TE protocol that balances load in realtime, responding to actual traffic demands and failures. TeXCP uses multiple paths to deliver demands from ingress to an egress router, adaptively moving traffic from overutilized to under-utilized paths.
