  • The off-grid target problem in compressed sensing (CS) based localization and propose a counting and localization framework. By regarding grid as an adjustable parameter, formulate multiple target counting and localization as a joint sparse signal recovery. It develop an iterative two-step variational Bayesian expectation maximization (VBEM) algorithm to solve the joint optimization problem. The algorithm consists of a VBE-step and a VBM-step.
