  • Wireless communication applications are used for special purpose, and thus the maintenance of energy efficient routing is one of the biggest problem and the most challenging task in recent days. Routing path selection is based on packet delivery ratio and Hop count. Energy requirement is directly proportional to the hop count and inversely proportional to packet delivery. So the Reliable Routing Protocol uses Degree of Path Selection, which is based on hop count and packet delivery ratio, for the path selection.
