Ph.D Research Proposal for Mobile Ad Hoc Network

Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) have evolved rapidly in the field of mobile computing and significantly change the way in which the mobile communication works. It supports a self-creating, self-organising and self-administering wireless network with a rapid, inexpensive deployment. MANET has become a significant area of research in wireless networks due to the potential applications of the recent days. Its intrinsic flexibility, lack of infrastructure, ease of deployment, auto-configuration, low cost and potential applications make it an essential part of future pervasive computing environments. It facilitates the seamless integration of MANETs with other networks. The hybrid architecture of MANET’s extends evolving new next generation networks for a particular application.
