  • In restricting the network access according to the resource availability, the proposed call admission control mechanism can provide guaranteed multimedia services in wireless multimedia networks. Initially, it classifies the calls into real time handoff calls, non real time handoff calls, and new calls, and moreover it allows only if the entered call satisfies the bandwidth value. This reduces the call dropping rate significantly.
