  • A localized self-deployment scheme, named as Obstacle Avoidance Target Involved Deployment Algorithm (OATIDA) is proposed, which is based on the concept of potential field theory and relative neighborhood graph (RNG), for self-deployment of mobile sensor nodes in an unknown environment to cover predefined targets while maintaining the connectivity with the base station through single-hop or multi-hop communications.
