  • This work addresses the two new shared relay (node) assignment (SRA) problems for many-to-one (M21) traffic in the context of cooperative wireless communications, namely M21-SRA-MMT and M21-SRA-MTT, in order to maximize the minimum and total throughputs. Two rounding-based algorithms (RA-MM and RA-MT) is designed, to maximize the minimum and total throughputs respectively. Also proposed the variation of RA-MM to improve the average-case performance while guaranteeing the worst-case performance.
