  • TBSLB method using Particle Swarm Optimization (TBSLB-PSO) develops a multi-objective task scheduling optimization model for migrating tasks from overloaded VMs that minimizes both task execution and transfer time, and developing a MOPSO-based algorithmto solve this proposed optimization model. In addition, the TBSLB conceptual model contains a Central Task Scheduler (CTS) to transfer tasks from an overloaded VM to a new similar VM by applying the information on the blackboard. TBSLB-PSO model overcomes this task migration optimization problem, using consideration of bandwidth as a variable to minimize the task transfer time for data intensive applications. In addition, it uses the PSO algorithm to solve the proposed optimization problem.

VM has some constraints to select as a host VM from the above procedure. Migratable task group also considers all the satisfying constraints as set of tasks to select host VM. In addition, VM has the capability to execute the task group on one VM not set of tasks execution onVMs set.
