  • A novel data dissemination scheme is proposed that is based on Clustering and Probabilistic Broadcasting (CPB). A clustering algorithm first construct different clusters or platoons among vehicles according to their driving directions and geographic locations. After that, the cluster member calculates the forwarding probability depending on the value of a local-installed counter to guarantee the information coverage as well as packet delivery ratio.
