  • This paper proposes the Pareto-efficient Stepwise Frequency Selection Algorithm (PSFS) selects the cost-efficient and high-frequency resources within the predefined resources in the Cloud for executing the scientific workflows. This algorithm chooses the resources from the set of the CPU frequencies that is initially chosen in the Pareto set in order to reduce the search space.
