  • Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of many sensors or nodes randomly/spatially deployed or distributed over a certain area with the purpose of extracting, processing, transporting, and transmitting information about specific events or variables that could be present in the monitoring area. The present routing algorithm is useful in the realm of centralized range-based localization schemes. The proposed method is capable of estimating the distance between two non-neighboring sensors in multi-hop wireless sensor networks.

  • In existing RSPA, the source node broadcast the request message to all neighbors. So all nodes rebroadcast the packet towards destination node, so energy is drained for all sensors in this case. To overcome this problem enhanced RSPA scheme is contributed.
