  • To find a high utility sequential patterns, this work proposes an efficient algorithm named PUSOM. To reduce the search space and speed of frequent pattern analysis, a pruning strategy is developed to eliminate non-periodic patterns and thus speed up the mining process. Furthermore, by using utility-based and periodicity-based pruning strategies, the proposed method reduces the mining time.
