  • A technique named Energy competent Steering Protocol based on CSA (ECSPCSA) is proposed to apply Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) to the problem of electing the group leader (CH) in the group set-up stage based on minimizing the intra group average space linking the member sensors and their relevant leaders (CH) and minimizing the total of fraction of remaining power/energy of active sensors in group to energy intensity of leader (CH).
