  • A proposed early event detection technique named BusBeat that uses GPS trajectories of the periodic-cars, which routinely travel in the urban area. To achieve the early event detection with GPS trajectory data, this work proposes a technique as data interpolation and the network-based event detection technique. An interpolation technique recovers the missing GPS data using the main feature of the periodic-cars. An event venue location is estimated using the network analysis.
