  • This project investigates that cost-effective instance provisioning framework for DAG-style big data analytics. A cost effective cloud server is identified using using transient servers. To accurately identify the stable cloud instance resources, this work designs a LSTM-based model for the price prediction of cloud instances. By focusing on Spark as a representative big data analytics workload, it proceeds to predict the performance of Spark stages and jobs using automatic job profiling and the acquired DAG information about the stages.
