  • A distributed beacon congestion control scheme is proposed, named DBCC, to control beacon activities with considering link conditions, vehicles with more neighbors and better conditions of links with its neighbors, will be assigned with higher beacon rates. In DBCC, utilize two machine learning methods, Naive Bayes (NB) and Support Vector Machines (SVM), to train the features and output a classifier model which conducts online non line of sight (NLoS) link condition prediction.
