  • To protect the smartphones at any time from thefts, this work presents an iGuard which is a smartphone anti-theft system. iGuard recognizes the behaviors of the smartphone owner while using their smartphones in terms of order of motions by analyzing the inertial sensing data. Moreover, it presents a motion segmentation algorithm to detect the motion transitions and determine the distinct feature in each sub-segment for each smartphone owner with the help of a Markov based model.
