  • Energy efficient two-level clustering algorithms such as fuzzy based hierarchical routing protocols F-MCHEL, F-SCH claim to improve the lifetime of the WSN. These protocols introduce an MCH/SCH at the second level between CHs and BS. This is due to the negligence of node density in CH selection. Hence, an effective hierarchical routing protocol is proposed. According to this, the CH selection is based on the battery power, node degree and centrality while SCH selection is based on battery power, centrality and mobility.
