  • To address the issue of optimization of MapReduce based Apriori algorithm, this work proposes a four algorithms such as VFPC(Variable Size based Fixed Passes Combined-counting), ETDPC(Elapsed Time based Dynamic Passes Combined-counting), Optimized-VFPC and Optimized-ETDPC, which reduces the number of passes in Apriori algorithm.
