Project Overview

Application and API security focuses on protecting applications, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, authentication mechanisms, and backend resources from security vulnerabilities and malicious requests by implementing secure input and XML processing, server-side authorization, controlled API query handling, secure authentication and token validation, and parameterized database query execution. It ensures that application and API requests, user-supplied data, authentication tokens, object-level access, API queries, and database interactions are properly validated and securely processed before reaching protected functions, resources, or data, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized access, injection attacks, authentication bypass, API abuse, and other application-layer security threats.
