Theoretical Issues in Ergonomics Science (TIES) aims to advance the science and philosophy of human factors and ergonomics (HFE). The Journal promotes a broad array of theoretical issues, methodology, and philosophical dialogues about human interactions within simple and complex systems, and is a highly respected forum for interdisciplinary discussion within this field, cutting across the human-centered design, practice, engineering, technology, and management of human-compatible systems in the broadest sense.
