Traitement du Signal(Signal processing) is a journal that publishes research findings on signal processing which is the discipline that develops and studies techniques for processing, analyzing and interpreting signals . Possible types of operations on these signals include control , filtering , compression and data transmission, noise reduction , deconvolution, prediction , identification, classification, and so on.Although this discipline has its origins in the engineering sciences (particularly electronics and automatics ), it is now widely used in many domains of mathematics , such as signal theory , stochastic processes , Vectorial spaces and linear algebra and applied mathematics , including information theory , optimization and numerical analysis .
