Project Description

  • This project proposes an energy-aware workflow scheduling system that uses predictive analytics and intelligent scheduling algorithms to allocate workflow tasks between on-premises private cloud and Azure public cloud.
  • Workflows are decomposed into tasks.

    Scheduler predicts task resource demand and energy cost.

    Tasks are mapped to the most energy-efficient infrastructure (edge, private DC, or Azure).

    Uses auto-scaling, monitoring, and ML models to continuously adapt to workload changes.

    Results: Reduced energy usage, cost savings, SLA compliance, and sustainability.
