To be eligible for a Ph.D. program in Computer Science at Chiba University in Japan, applicants must meet the following admission requirements:
• A Master-s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field with a minimum GPA of 2.3 (on a 3.0 scale)
• Proficiency in English, demonstrated by a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the iBT or 6.0 on the IELTS
• A research proposal that describes the applicant-s research interests and proposed topic for their doctoral research
• Letters of recommendation from at least two professors or researchers
