    PhD Admission Procedure for Computer Science -Georgia Institute of Technology

     To admit to Georgia Institute of Technology for the Ph.D. in Computer Science, the admission requirements are as follows:
      •  Bachelor-s degree in computer science or related areas, and its acceptable minimum GPA is 3.5/4.0.
      •  General Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores reports are optional, and their average score must be 80, 90, and 90 percent on the verbal, quantitative, and analytical sections, respectively. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test score report is necessary for applicants with English as a non-native language. Its desirable minimum score is 600 for a paper-based or 250 for a computer-based test.
      •  For the above consideration, IELTS score reports are also accepted with an overall minimum score of 7.5.
