• To admit for a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Hiroshima University, the following admission requirements are generally expected
• Candidates must hold a master-s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from an authorized institution
• As the language of instruction at Hiroshima University is Japanese, proficiency in Japanese is required. International students who are nonnative Japanese speakers must submit evidence of their proficiency in Japanese, such as the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certificate
• A detailed research proposal detailing research interests, research questions, methodology, and expected outcomes is required
• Candidates must submit official transcripts of their academic records, such as all courses and grades obtained in their undergraduate and graduate studies
• Candidates must provide at least two letters of recommendation from professors
