Contiki Cooja Simulator Projects in RPL Routing Protocol
Tools Languages:  Contiki-Cooja / Contiki NG simulator, Front End: Java, Back End: C
Software Requirement:  Vmware workstation player, Instant Contiki-3.0
Aim and Objectives:
This project focuses on designing a secure and scalable trust-aware RPL routing protocol for IoT using the contiki-cooja simulator.
Contribution:
1. This project proposed SecTrust framework is mapped to the RPL routing protocol, which provides a new Trust-aware RPL protocol (SecTrust-RPL).
2. The effectiveness of SecTrust-RPL is compared against the standard RPL protocol using simulation under Rank and Sybil attacks.
3. A simulation compares SecTrust-RPL against the standard RPL protocol in delivering good network performance while under Rank and Sybil attacks.
Performance Evalution:
This project presents the simulation results of the comparison between MRHOF-RPL and SecTrust-RPL under attacks. The attacker attack nodes (28, 29 and 30) were manually activated under 30 node scenarios.
Performance Metrics:
• PDR
• Energy Consumption
• Throughput
• Delay
• Control Packet Overhead
• Execution Time
• CPU Energy Consumption
