Contiki Cooja Simulator Projects in RPL Routing Protocol
Tools Languages:   Contiki-Cooja / Contiki NG simulator, Front End: Java, Back End: C
Software Requirement:  Vmware workstation player, Instant Contiki-3.0
Aim and Objectives:
The main objective of the project is to design and analyze the trust-based resilient routing mechanism for the internet of things using the contiki-cooja simulator.
Contribution:
1. This project contributes to detecting node ratings that fall below a predefined threshold, thus detecting nodes with suspicious behavior.
2. This work assesses the routing resiliency of our proposal in the presence of network-level trust attacks.
3. The performance evaluation of solution through extensive experiments.
Performance Evalution:
This project evaluated the performance of trust-based RPL (tRPL) with the help of simulations in cooja. The experiment setup consists of up to 100 nodes randomly deployed in a 100m x 100m grid.
Performance Metrics:
• PDR
• Energy Consumption
• Throughput
• Delay
• Control Packet Overhead
• Execution Time
• CPU Energy Consumption
