Aim and Objectives:  
This project focuses on a performance evaluation of RPL in high-density networks for the internet of things using the contiki-cooja simulator.

Contribution:  
1. This project presents simulation study results for RPL protocol in high-density networks.
2. In this project, the RPL performance in terms of two objective functions (i.e., the Objective Function Zero (OF0) and the Minimum Rank with Hysteresis Objective Function (MRHOF)) is investigated under grid topology.

Performance Evalution:  
In the simulations conducted over the heavy-density network, the number of nodes has varied between 100-150 based on their allocation around the sink.
