Aim and Objectives:  This project aims to increase network lifetime by implementing a novel load-balancing method based on cluster ranking.
Contributions:  
1. Optimizing energy consumption and load balancing in the RPL protocol.
2. Calculating the number of children using a new method to achieve load balancing to form a DODAG.
Performance Evaluation:  The simulation results are investigated in two scenarios with mobile and fixed nodes. In all simulation scenarios with 20, 40 and 60 nodes;
