Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neuro- degenarative disease caused due to decreased dopamine secretion. In the recent years, it has become a universal health problem. Predicting the cause of the problem at the earlier stage will help to stop the severity of the disease. Several machine learning algorithms were tested to enhance the accuracy in Parkinson’s disease prediction among suspected individuals. This paper presents a comprehensive review on several machine learning algorithms used for the prediction and classification of the Parkinson’s disease. Details of results which are given by many researchers available in literature for the prediction process is also provided in this review.
