Research Area:  Internet of Things
Internet of things has gained more acceptances in recent years as IoT provide the connectivity between the day to day devices such as computers, smartphones, laptops, etc. In the present technological world, for the benefit in work done by humans number of materialistic things can be used i.e, the Internet of Things which is a modern skill provides a better way that enables the interconnection of different devices and make them digital with the use of different networks and communication technologies, vital challenges which are linked to the broad application of IoT are- security, privacy and these issues are hindrance in the path of accepting IoT in our daily life. In this study paper, we are providing an overview of Internet of Things, its three layered framework, attacks that are likely to occur in network layer and then we have focused on the routing protocols used in the network layer.
