Research Area:  Internet of Things
The existing internet of things (IoT) system generally adopt the single scheduling strategy of first-come-first-serve, which fails to meet the real-time and personalized request of different users. Because of the complexity of the IoT system and the diversity of the objectives requirements, definition of Quality of Service (QoS) and formal model are established for Internet of things. In this paper, a multi-QoS driven resources hierarchical scheduling architecture for IoT is proposed based on information entropy. The method contains two main processes is presented, i.e. classification request scheduling and accurate selection scheduling. Simulation results show that the method can maintain the fairness of the request, and ensure that the high priority service requests are processed first to achieve personalized and optimal utilization of resources.
