Aim and Objectives:  To develop a design of Load Balancing for RPL-based IoT using the Contiki-Cooja simulator.
Contribution:  
1. Construct a multipath routing mechanism to improve load balancing and maximize throughput.
2. Calculate the Rank and cost of the link of nodes.
Find the traffic rate of the parents is estimated by calculating the average number of received packets from each candidate parent within a given time.
Performance Evalution:  
The performance evaluation is performed using the Contiki-Cooja simulator with three different network sizes such as 15, 30 and 45.
