In wireless networks, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) is a self-configuring, infrastructure-less network in which mobile devices move in any direction and communicate with any node involved in the network. Because of its adaptive and self-organizing nature, Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) has emerged as a key enabler facilitating effective services. Different types of routing protocols designed for MANETs such as Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV), Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector (DSDV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), and Ad Hoc On-Demand Multipath Distance (AOMDV).
With the significant increase of MANET in recent years, it plays a vital role in many fields such as healthcare, military, emergency services, education, and many others areas.
