Big Data deals with processing very large data sets with huge dimension or complex to deal with traditional data processing application software. Big data analysis faces significant challenges, including capturing data, data storage, data analysis, visualization, querying, updating, searching, sharing, information privacy, and data source. It was originally related to three key concepts: volume, variety, and velocity.
It is believed to play a critical role in the future in all walks of our lives and societies. Current usage of big data refers to predictive analytics, user behavior analytics, or other advanced data analytics methods that are capable of extracting insights from big data and seldom to a particular size of data sets. The size of Big Data is represented in petabytes (1024 terabytes) or Exabytes (1024 petabytes) that consist of trillion records of millions of people collected from various sources such as the web, social media, and mobile data.
