The street-centric routing protocols improve the packet delivery performance more significantly than the node-centric ones. The street-centric routing models consider the vehicle density along a street and select the best routers based on the street segments. It comprises two modules that are street-level segment selection and routing strategy within the selected street. The sequence street-centric routing models utilize a series of streets to establish the best routing path among the source and destination vehicle pairs.
